Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms to support early detection
- Operate digital and 3D mammography systems, including Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX
- Assist with and perform stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, and fine needle aspirations
- Accurately document procedures and patient information using Epic charting
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and clear communication during breast imaging and procedures
- Maintain imaging quality and safety standards while troubleshooting equipment and workflow issues
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support biopsy procedures and follow-up care
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience
- Experience with screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsy, needle localizations, and fine needle aspiration
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment
- ARRT M, ARRT R, and BLS certifications are preferred
- Outpatient procedures experience a plus
- Travel experience not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Screening and diagnostic mammography techniques
- 3D/DBT mammography (Hologic 3D)
- Stereotactic biopsy and biopsy assistance
- Needle localization and fine needle aspiration procedures
- Epic electronic charting proficiency
- Strong patient communication and positioning skills
- Attention to image quality, safety, and protocol adherence
- Comfort working in an outpatient procedural setting
