Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Provide compassionate hands-on care while preserving patient dignity and comfort
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention measures during daily care
• Accurately document care delivered and communicate with nursing staff during handoffs
• Maintain a clean, safe environment through infection control and proper equipment use
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• Ability to pass a facility background check and drug screen as required
• Proof of required immunizations and health screenings per facility policy
• Reliable, compassionate demeanor and ability to work long shifts
• CPR/BLS certification is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient personal care and assistance with ADLs
• Knowledge of infection control best practices
• Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable with documentation and electronic charting workflows
• Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
