Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients, delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing
• Manage complex equipment and therapies including CRRT and ventilator support
• Perform advanced procedures such as intubations and central/arterial line placement as needed
• Monitor patient status using Philips monitors and manage infusions with Alaris pumps
• Document care accurately and efficiently in Meditech to ensure continuity and safety
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
• Advocate for patients and families, focusing on excellent patient experience and ICARE principles
• Participate in unit-based initiatives and mentor fellow staff to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse licensure (able to work in Tennessee or obtain licensure prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Hands-on experience with CRRT, intubation, and line placement
• Comfortable using Meditech documentation and working with Philips monitors and Alaris pumps
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and rapid clinical decision making
• CRRT setup, troubleshooting, and patient management
• Airway management and endotracheal intubation skills
• Vascular access knowledge including central and arterial lines
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation workflows
• Proficiency with Philips patient monitoring systems and Alaris infusion pumps
• Ability to work in a 1:2 patient ratio ICU environment
