Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients under physician orders and determine functional needs
- Design individualized treatment programs using therapeutic procedures and modalities
- Provide hands-on treatments and interventions to restore muscle strength, range of motion, coordination, and body alignment
- Manage and control patient pain to improve movement and daily function
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient outcomes in accordance with clinic policy and State Practice Act
- Collaborate with referring physicians and the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Qualifications
- Current CA Physical Therapist License (required)
- Ability to evaluate and treat patients per referring physician orders
- Experience developing treatment programs and using therapeutic modalities
- Knowledge of pain management techniques and restoring ROM and strength
- Commitment to practice in accordance with the California State Practice Act
- Availability to work day shifts, full-time
