Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately following established protocols
• Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, and tissue specimens with care
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and media needed for reliable testing
• Maintain clear, accurate records of test results and manage data in the LIS
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with lab colleagues and healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Laboratory Technician or similar role in a clinical laboratory setting
• Proficiency in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking
• Experience using laboratory information systems (LIS) for accurate data entry and retrieval
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills
• Phlebotomy experience and prior hospital setting experience are a plus
• Willingness and ability to relocate to Culbertson, MT prior to starting (required)
• CLT/CLS certification or equivalent is preferred

• Quality control procedures and adherence to SOPs
• Laboratory safety protocols and infection control
• Data recording, data management, and LIS proficiency
