Roles & Responsibilities
- Observe and evaluate treatment effects and recommend changes to the care team
- Perform thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy to help patients regain function and independence
- Select and implement appropriate therapeutic procedures for a range of conditions
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with physicians and staff
- Educate patients and families on home programs and prevention strategies
- Collaborate with a close-knit interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Contribute to a positive patient experience in a rural community setting
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Physical Therapy license (required)
- Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification (required)
- Willingness to relocate to and practice in a rural community (required)
- Comfort working full-time day shifts (M-F)
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient assessment and evaluation
- Proficient with therapeutic procedures and rehabilitation techniques
- Experience in evaluation and treatment planning
- Knowledge of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, integumentary, pulmonary and cardiovascular conditions
- Strong clinical decision-making and documentation skills
