Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents at Bel-Aire Center, focusing on dignity and comfort
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to catch changes early
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care promptly
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to create and follow individualized care plans
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with residents and their families to build trust
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and safety protocols to ensure high quality care

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license (T-LPN/LPN classification) appropriate for practice
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts on the scheduled Mon/Tue/Wed rotation
• Willingness to work a travel/contract assignment and adapt to a new facility
• Current immunizations and ability to complete required background and health screenings

Education

• Diploma or certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or equivalent vocational training

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fundamentals in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Skilled in patient assessment, wound care basics, and monitoring clinical changes
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork to coordinate care effectively
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment while keeping patient safety first
