Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during night shifts
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and respond to changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
• Float to other areas as needed to support unit staffing and patient care
• Maintain clear and timely electronic documentation and handoffs
• Adhere to facility policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
• Support weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend rotation

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) — active license required
• Ability to practice in Pennsylvania (state licensure or compact where applicable)
• BLS certification required; additional certifications welcomed
• Comfort and experience working night shifts
• Willingness to float to other units as operational needs require
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical monitoring skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines
• Experience with electronic health record documentation
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and handle fast-paced clinical situations
• Adaptability to float between units and support changing needs
