Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients' clinical status and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately
Collaborate with rehabilitation therapists and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge planning
Document care thoroughly in the electronic medical record and communicate changes in condition
Champion patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based practice on your unit

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Mexico
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or other specialty certs a plus
Experience or strong interest in rehabilitation nursing preferred
Comfortable working 12.5-hour day shifts and managing a full patient assignment
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical decision-making
Proficient with medication administration and IV care
Competent with documentation in electronic health records and handoff communication
Knowledge of rehab-focused care, mobility support, and restorative nursing principles
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
