Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patient condition and develop individualized nursing care plans
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor vital signs and intervene as needed to maintain patient stability
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EMR promptly
Provide patient and family education with compassion and clarity
Promote a safe, therapeutic environment and adhere to infection control practices

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or ability to obtain prior to start
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred where applicable
Clinical experience in acute care or rehabilitation preferred
Strong communication skills and proven ability to work collaboratively in a team
Ability to work 12.5-hour day shifts (Monday-Wednesday) and manage a fast-paced caseload

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Care planning and discharge coordination
Proficient documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Infection prevention and control practices
Effective interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
