Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents, prioritizing safety and dignity
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document according to facility policy
• Perform thorough patient assessments and promptly escalate changes in condition
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to create and follow individualized care plans
• Maintain timely, precise charting in the electronic medical record to support continuity of care
• Support resident comfort and quality of life through attentive bedside care and effective communication with families

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working night shift hours and in a travel/contract setting
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar clinical environment is a plus
• Ability to pass background check and any required facility onboarding

Education

• Vocational nursing diploma or LPN certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Basic assessment skills and recognizing clinical changes
• Wound care and dressing management fundamentals
• Strong communication and teamwork mindset
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and standard nursing documentation
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
