Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem / As-needed, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
Perform thorough assessments and communicate findings to the care team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care
Respond effectively to urgent situations and assist in emergency care

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential
Valid, active nursing license appropriate for practice (state-required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or required per facility policy
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to per-diem scheduling

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (diploma, ASN, or BSN as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and bedside nursing skills
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Charting and electronic health record familiarity
Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
