Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Casa Del Sol Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the medical record
• Perform patient assessments and report changes in condition to the interdisciplinary team
• Support activities of daily living and promote patient dignity and comfort
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow facility policies and safety protocols
• Contribute to a positive, resident-focused environment through clear communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (required)
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to work night shifts (Thursday–Saturday) and adapt to a travel assignment
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background check, and drug screen

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or certificate (required)
• High school diploma or GED (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Resident assessment, vital signs, and basic clinical interventions
• Wound care basics and infection control procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with residents and families
• Familiarity with electronic health record charting preferred
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
