Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents including bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility and transfers to promote resident safety and independence
• Measure and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support feeding and meal assistance while respecting resident preferences and needs
• Document care activities accurately and maintain clear communication with nurses and families
• Help maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — active and in good standing
• Previous experience working as a CNA or in a similar direct-care role is preferred
• Ability to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday day shifts as scheduled
• Reliable attendance required (local-only assignment with a maximum of 2 call-outs; no-call/no-show policies strictly enforced)
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
• Basic CPR/First Aid preferred or willing to obtain upon hire

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care techniques
• Skill measuring/reporting vital signs and observing changes in condition
• Familiarity with documentation best practices and electronic/paper charting
• Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and infection control procedures
• Good time management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
