Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs and patient observations accurately and promptly
• Support mobility and transfers safely, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team to ensure timely intervention
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families while preserving privacy and respect

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (T-CNA accepted)
• Comfortable working a travel/contract assignment and adapting to a new facility
• Basic competency in patient care tasks and safety procedures
• Ability to pass facility-required background checks and immunization screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA training program; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
• Skill performing activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Ability to accurately measure and document vitals and intake/output
• Familiarity with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Good observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
