Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistive care with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate any changes to the nursing team
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
• Support mealtime and feeding needs while promoting dignity and resident choice
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient record and report observations to nurses
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents
• Collaborate with the care team to help deliver person centered care and improve outcomes

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice
• Active facility ID badge required (MUST HAVE ID BADGE)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and facility immunization requirements
• Comfort working Monday, Wednesday and Friday day shifts as scheduled

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong hands on caregiving skills and a customer service mindset
• Comfortable taking vital signs and observing clinical changes
• Basic charting and documentation skills; attention to detail
• Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
• Infection prevention and control awareness
• Good communication and teamwork skills with nurses, therapists, and families
