Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality ICU patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and promptly communicate clinical changes to the care team
• Perform thorough patient assessments and implement evidence-based interventions
• Provide clear, compassionate patient and family teaching to support recovery and discharge planning
• Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and safety
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Supervise and guide other nursing personnel while upholding ICU standards of care

Qualifications

• Current, valid state RN license (required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications listed as required in credentialing
• Minimum of 1 year as a staff RN in acute care/critical care (required)
• CCRN certification preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Up-to-date required immunizations and successful drug screen/fit test as part of onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care and acute care nursing knowledge
• Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Skilled in patient assessment and rapid clinical decision-making
• Comfortable applying the nursing process for complex ICU patients
• Experience with patient/family teaching and care coordination
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic medical records
• Commitment to patient privacy, safety, and clinical documentation standards
