Shift Type: Per diem schedule, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift; exact days vary based on per diem assignments)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
- Document care given and observations accurately and timely
- Support a safe, clean, and respectful living environment for residents
- Collaborate with the care team to enhance each resident's comfort and dignity
Qualifications
- GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) classification as listed in the job details
- Comfort working day shift hours (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) on a per diem basis
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient approach with older adults
- Ability to follow facility policies and work well within a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and resident dignity
- Basic patient care skills such as transfers, feeding assistance, and hygiene support
- Accurate documentation and observation reporting
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with residents
- Familiarity with safe lifting and mobility techniques
