Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care at the bedside
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans
- Educate patients and families to promote recovery and self-care
- Escalate changes in patient condition and participate in timely handoffs
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality improvement, and professional accountability
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license (RN) in Pennsylvania
- Current BLS/CPR certification or able to obtain upon hire
- Clinical experience in acute care or similar settings preferred but per diem roles may consider a range of experience levels
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a collaborative care team
- Proof of immunizations and any facility-required health screenings
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid assessment skills and clinical judgment in adult medicine
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Patient education and family-focused communication skills
