Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Perform thorough assessments and develop clear, actionable care plans
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate seamless patient care
• Document patient status and interventions clearly in the medical record
• Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Educate patients and families with clear, respectful communication

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain one
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred or available
• Prior acute care or long-term care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and provide consistent, reliable coverage for the assignment
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and teamwork mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of nursing assessments and care planning
• Skilled in medication administration and IV management
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication and patient/family education skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm during high-acuity situations
• Team-oriented approach and willingness to support colleagues
