Shift Type: Rotating day shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, schedule includes weekends and holidays; on-call coverage as assigned (day shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient perioperative nursing care in the operating room for a variety of surgical cases
- Respond to Level 1 trauma activations with composure and advanced OR skills
- Maintain a high standard on the skills checklist and demonstrate proficiency in specialty procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in on-call rotations, weekends, and holiday coverage to support continuous care
- Document care accurately and communicate patient status during handoffs and multidisciplinary rounds
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (required)
- Prior Operating Room nursing experience; travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- High rating on skills checklist or demonstrable advanced clinical skills
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and participate in on-call coverage
- Ability to work in a no-block scheduling environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Perioperative nursing principles and sterile technique
- Trauma assessment and rapid response workflows
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to prioritize in high-acuity situations
- Proficiency on skills checklist items and specialty OR equipment
- Comfort working in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma center environment
- Burn care experience preferred
