Location: Silver Spring, MD
Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; specific days to be confirmed)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor resident well-being and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support comfort, dignity, and mobility for geriatric residents during your shift
- Document care and observations clearly and accurately in resident records
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) — required
- Comfort working night shift hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Ability to pass standard background checks and facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting
- Compassionate approach and experience working with geriatric populations preferred
Education
- GNA certificate or equivalent state-recognized training
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
- Able to take and record vital signs and report concerns
- Good documentation skills and attention to detail
- Calm, patient-centered approach to working with older adults
