Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care with dignity and respect
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Keep patient areas clean and organized to promote comfort and infection control
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and teammates to ensure coordinated care
- Document care activities accurately and timely in the patient record
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Demonstrated compassion and strong communication skills
- Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
- Previous patient care experience preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred

- Basic nursing care techniques and patient safety practices
- Safe transfer and lifting procedures
- Vital sign measurement and charting
- Infection prevention and proper PPE use
- Team communication and following care plans
