Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room and ensure all instruments and sterile supplies are ready for procedures
- Assist surgeons and scrub in for a range of operative cases with focus on trauma and OR best practices
- Maintain sterile field and uphold strict infection control standards throughout procedures
- Provide reliable on-call support during weekends and holidays, responding promptly when needed
- Communicate clearly with the surgical team to promote patient safety and efficient case flow
- Adapt to varied case schedules and deliver consistently high-quality technical support
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for the OR (required)
- Level I Trauma experience (required) with demonstrated competence in high-acuity cases
- Travel experience and comfort working in temporary/contract assignments
- Availability for on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage (required)
- Burn experience preferred
- High ratings on technical skill set and strong teamwork under pressure
Knowledge & Skills
- Operating Room (OR) procedures and workflows
- Surgical technology and sterile technique
- Trauma care and high-acuity case support
- Familiarity with burn care (preferred)
- Strong instrument and equipment knowledge with attention to detail
