Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and assess patients continuously to detect changes early
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care in Epic
• Maintain patient ratios of roughly 1:5–6 while providing compassionate, individualized care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and discharge planning
• Float between like units within scope to meet facility staffing needs as required

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state (pending licenses are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry bedside experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• First-time travel nurses are welcome — we’ll support your transition to travel work
• Ability to work night shift schedule and cover every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring and rhythm recognition skills
• Proficiency with Epic electronic charting and documentation
• Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization abilities
• Comfort functioning in a fast-paced, short-term acute care / Level III trauma center
• Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
• Ability to adapt and float to like units within scope when needed
