Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dental care including exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Perform restorative procedures, extractions and urgent dental care as needed
• Document clinical findings and treatment plans accurately in patient records
• Maintain a safe, infection-controlled clinical environment and follow standard precautions
• Educate patients on oral health, preventive care and post-procedure instructions
• Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
• Participate actively in orientation and any required facility training
• Contribute to continuous improvement of clinic workflows and patient experience

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
• Active California dental license (required) or eligibility to obtain one promptly
• Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred) and willingness to maintain required certifications
• Clinical experience providing general dentistry; experience in restorative and urgent care preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations
• Willingness to complete a 1-week orientation and commit to the 6-month assignment

Education

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in routine restorative dentistry, extractions and emergency dental care
• Knowledge of infection control standards and OSHA guidelines
• Comfortable reviewing and interpreting dental radiographs
• Patient-centered communication and education skills
• Familiarity with dental practice management/EHR systems and proper charting
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-based clinical setting
