Shift Type: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Day. Note: Coverage hours may vary — PT needed Monday & Wednesday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM and Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (day shifts).
Hours per Week: 20
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions such as therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and functional task practice
- Monitor patient progress and update care plans to achieve measurable outcomes
- Document treatments and outcomes accurately and timely in the facility’s charting system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Adhere to facility policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure treatment environment
Qualifications
- Professional experience as a Physical Therapist (role expects PT-level skills and clinical judgment)
- Comfort working within the California Correctional Institution environment and following facility credentialing processes
- Willingness to complete a 3-week orientation as part of onboarding
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical knowledge of physical therapy assessment and intervention
- Skilled in therapeutic exercise, functional mobility training, and patient education
- Accurate documentation and outcome tracking
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to varied patient needs and security environment
- Professionalism, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills
