Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care during the evening shift
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per policy
- Assess residents regularly and communicate changes to the care team
- Support rehabilitation goals and daily living activities to maximize independence
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license (ability to work in Massachusetts required)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
- Prior experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care is a plus
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care and skin integrity principles
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Ability to assess and report clinical changes in residents
- Teamwork and collaborative care planning
