Location: Silver Spring, MD
Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (days not specified), Evening shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Take and record basic vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Document resident care accurately and timely in line with facility policies
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
- Support care plan implementation and participate in team efforts to improve resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification required (Geriatric Nursing Assistant)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric setting is a plus
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
- Compassionate, reliable, and a strong team player with good communication skills
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic resident mobility
- Accurate documentation skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with residents and families
