Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the ICU/PCU setting
• Perform thorough patient assessments, monitor trends, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Respond quickly and competently to patient emergencies and changes in condition
• Administer medications and advanced therapies according to protocols and safety standards
• Educate and support patients and families with compassion and clear communication
• Adhere to facility policies, regulatory requirements, and traveler performance expectations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential — current and in good standing
• Clinical experience in ICU and/or PCU nursing (demonstrated ability to work 12-hour shifts)
• Ability to work both day and night rotations as needed
• Professional communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Willingness to meet regional performance expectations for traveler staff

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care assessment and clinical judgment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ICU/PCU workflows
• Skilled in medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Able to prioritize in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• Compassionate patient and family communication
