Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Skies HC and Rhb Center area
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes in condition promptly
- Document care and patient responses clearly and timely in the chart
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement individualized care plans
- Support patient education and family communication to improve outcomes
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care to ensure continuity
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (Class: LPN or RN) — New Mexico licensure preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable and experienced working night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN diploma/ADN/BSN as applicable)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Familiarity with basic wound care and rehab-centered nursing practices
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and charting systems
- Good time management, triage, and prioritization skills during busy night shifts
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient advocacy
