Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and monitor patient condition throughout the shift
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
- Perform focused assessments, report changes in condition, and escalate concerns
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic medical record
- Support patients and families with education and emotional reassurance
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential (LPN preferred)
- Active/state nursing license appropriate for practice (New Mexico licensure expected)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willing to obtain
- Clinical experience in medical/surgical or similar acute care settings preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently overnight and communicate clearly with team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (or accredited nursing program for RNs)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and clinical observation skills
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and basic charting
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
