Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; schedule varies and includes night and weekend on-call coverage

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field and ensure proper instrument setup for each case
- Anticipate surgeon needs and deliver instruments and supplies promptly to support smooth procedures
- Assist with specialty cases including transplants, spine, vascular, robotics and total joints
- Collaborate with the OR team to maintain patient safety, proper counts and documentation
- Adapt quickly to changing case loads and provide dependable on-call coverage when scheduled
- Use Meditech EMR for accurate perioperative charting and handoffs
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- DORA and NBSTSA certifications listed as must-haves for consideration
- Minimum 2 years of OR/CST experience required; 3+ years preferred
- Experience or comfort working in transplant, spine or vascular cases strongly desired
- Familiarity with robotics, total joints, ENT and plastics is a plus
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with night and weekend on-call responsibilities
Education
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- DORA and NBSTSA certifications (required as listed)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong instrumentation and sterile technique in a high-volume OR
- Experience with transplant, spine, vascular and joint procedures
- Comfort with robotics and specialty orthopedic cases
- Proficient with Meditech EMR for perioperative documentation
- Excellent teamwork, communication and ability to prioritize under pressure
- Reliable count procedures, safety protocols and OR flow management
