Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Support mobility and transfer safely, using correct body mechanics and assistive devices
- Observe, record and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Assist with meal service and feeding support when needed
- Maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment for residents
- Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to deliver individualized care plans
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families through kind communication
Qualifications
- GNA certification required (must meet Maryland state requirements)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable assisting older adults with dignity and respect
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen and TB screening as required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Prior experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification (state-required training)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care basics and geriatric needs
- Skill in assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling
- Basic documentation and charting skills
- Infection control and hand hygiene practices
- Ability to follow care plans and report observations accurately
- Compassionate interpersonal skills and patience
