Shift Type: Rotating nights including weekends (2 weekends per schedule), 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Triage patients quickly and accurately using ESI guidelines to prioritize care
- Provide high-acuity emergency care including trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis interventions
- Perform life-saving procedures: IV insertion, EKGs, airway management, intubation, and CPR
- Assist with rapid sequence intubation, moderate sedation, and code responses
- Administer medications safely and document care clearly in Meditech
- Coordinate transport and transfer to higher levels of care when needed
- Educate patients and families with compassion and clear communication
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver efficient, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the United States (per state requirements)
- Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)
- Certifications such as ENPC, TNCC and CPI are highly desired
- Demonstrated experience with cardiac alert/STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and trauma care
- Comfort with fast-paced ED workflows and strong critical thinking skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/ASN or BSN)
- BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong triage and ESI assessment skills
- Proficient with IV insertion, medication administration, and EKG interpretation
- Experience with intubation, airway management, and rapid sequence intubation
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR documentation
- Infection control and isolation protocol knowledge
- Ability to perform splinting, wound care, and moderate sedation monitoring
- Excellent teamwork, timely documentation, and reassessment in a fast-paced environment
