Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day). Training: 1 week Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based clinical assessments and individualized treatment plans for patients with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions that promote recovery and skill-building
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, share insights and ensure continuity for each patient
- Document clinical progress, safety plans and discharge summaries clearly and timely
- Support crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed, prioritizing patient and staff safety
- Participate in training, supervision and team meetings to continuously improve treatment approaches
Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with active California licensure or eligible for California licensure
- Experience or strong interest in mental health and substance abuse treatment settings
- Comfortable working Monday-Friday daytime schedule and completing a one-week early training shift
- Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with treatment planning
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams
Education
- Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent graduate degree required
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment modalities and recovery-oriented care
- Skills in clinical assessment, diagnostic formulation and treatment planning
- Competence in facilitating individual and group therapy
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and safety planning
- Ability to engage patients from diverse backgrounds with empathy and cultural sensitivity
