Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
• Assist nursing staff with timely, accurate vital signs and basic clinical observations
• Maintain clear, professional documentation of resident care and observed changes
• Support a safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with the care team and families to advocate for resident needs
• Contribute to positive resident experiences through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
• Valid authorization to work in New Mexico
• Comfortable working night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and providing full 12+ hour shift coverage
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full 10-week travel assignment

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of resident care and ADLs (activities of daily living)
• Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
• Good communication skills for handoffs and family interactions
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
