Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Part-time, 20 hours per week (20 hr guarantee). Exact days and start/end times to be scheduled with the facility and Rehab Director.

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct speech therapy interventions and document clinical progress accurately
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure correct billing/reporting for your caseload
- Report and interpret treatment outcomes to inform ongoing care
- Participate in patient care meetings and coordinate with interdisciplinary staff
- Design and present in-service trainings to staff as requested
- Provide patient and family education to support therapy goals and home carryover
- Supervise support personnel in the immediate work area and mentor team members
- Assist with community education and public relations activities when appropriate
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (required)
- Certification in accordance with the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA/CCC-SLP)
- Active Florida license required for submission
- Ability to safely lift and assist patients up to 50 pounds; minimal assist transfers
- Competence in clinical documentation and billing/reporting for speech therapy
- Comfort working within Medicare and private insurance guidelines
Education
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in evaluation, treatment planning, and delivery of speech therapy
- Strong clinical documentation and accuracy in billing/reporting
- Experience coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and present in-service education
- Effective patient and family education and communication skills
- Supervision of support personnel and mentorship abilities
