Shift Type: Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, scheduled as three nights per week (rotating nights); every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to a diverse patient population
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and intervene appropriately using telemetry skills
- Document patient assessments, interventions and progress accurately in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists and interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient-centered care plans
- Safeguard patient safety and maintain the unit patient ratio (typically 1:5-6)
- Float between like units as needed to support staffing and continuity of care
- Provide compassionate patient and family education during admissions, transfers and discharge
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required (pending licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of MS/Telemetry nursing experience (first-time travel nurses are welcome)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIH) certification required
- Demonstrated experience with Epic charting
- Comfortable working night shifts and every other weekend coverage
- Ability to float between like units within scope to meet facility needs
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Solid medical-surgical nursing judgment and prioritization
- Proficient in Epic electronic charting and documentation
- Experience managing patient loads consistent with 1:5-6 ratios
- Adaptability to float between similar units and support changing patient needs
- Clear communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced acute care settings
