Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform accurate patient history intake to build strong clinical foundations
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary cancer care team
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing referrals so patients move smoothly through care
• Assist with medication refills and help manage symptom-related needs
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families
• Provide patient education about treatments, side-effect management, and follow-up care
• Document care and chart in Epic to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Contribute to a coordinated continuum of care by liaising with oncology and clinic teams

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) — ready to practice in the clinic setting
• Minimum 2 years of clinic experience (required)
• Oncology experience required — Radiation Oncology experience a strong fit
• Epic electronic health record experience (required)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate care across teams

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient history intake and assessment
• Referral coordination and clinic workflow
• Patient communication and education
• Medication refill processes and basic medication management
• Familiarity with Epic and clinical documentation best practices
• Understanding of oncology care pathways and radiation oncology basics
• Team collaboration within an interdisciplinary cancer care setting
