Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care across the shift with attention to safety and dignity
• Perform thorough assessments and timely reassessments to guide treatment and interventions
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate seamless, high-quality care
• Document care clearly and efficiently in the facility charting system
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate concerns per facility protocols

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) — core role required (classification: RN)
• Available for the assignment period: 2026-02-02 through 2026-03-16
• Comfortable working overnight 12.5-hour shifts and delivering high-quality care during night hours
• Professional, team-minded, and ready to integrate into the Genesis - West Region care team

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking during overnight care
• Safe medication administration and monitoring
• Clear, concise documentation and handoff communication
• Ability to collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
• Patient education and family communication skills
