Shift Type: Variable days including on-call weekends and after-hours, Day shift, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (position works within 4–10 hour shift patterns; may include rotating/on-call coverage)
Hours per Week: 38
Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality endoscopy nursing care before, during, and after procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Assess and monitor patients using bedside monitors and EKG equipment, responding promptly to changes
- Operate and support endoscopic procedural equipment and maintain sterile technique
- Document care accurately and efficiently in the Expanse electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and perioperative staff to coordinate smooth procedural flow
- Provide patient and family education about procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
- Step in confidently during emergencies and apply ACLS/BLS skills when needed
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience (experience: 2)
- Minimum 1 year of endoscopy experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Familiarity with Expanse electronic documentation system
- Comfort working in a fast-paced endoscopy unit with 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven endoscopy procedural experience including colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and ERCP support
- Skilled with bedside monitoring and EKG interpretation
- Knowledge of endoscopic equipment handling and infection control practices
- Strong documentation and charting skills in Expanse
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in perioperative settings
