Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead daily unit operations and coordinate patient care to ensure a safe, efficient environment
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, fostering professional growth and teamwork
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans and improve outcomes
- Manage staffing and resources for the unit, including scheduling and on-call coordination
- Act decisively during clinical escalations and provide leadership presence on the floor
- Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
- Support quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient satisfaction and clinical performance
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (able to practice in the assignment state)
- Experience as a Unit Manager or in a leadership role within a nursing unit
- Comfort with and availability for on-call duties as required by the facility
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and team leadership skills
- Willingness to commit to the 14-week travel assignment
