Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan with speed and compassion
- Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and trauma status
- Implement ACLS/PALS protocols and perform lifesaving interventions when seconds count
- Coordinate closely with physicians, trauma teams (Level 1/2), and ancillary staff to ensure seamless care
- Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the medical record
- Maintain and demonstrate competency through Trinity specialty testing and skills checklists
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license (state licensure verification required)
- BLS and ACLS required
- TNCC required; PALS or ENPC required (PALS or ENPC acceptable)
- Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma settings required
- Successful completion of Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist
- Ability to meet health requirements (fit test, immunizations, 10-panel drug screen, physical/health statement)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency department nursing and trauma care skills
- Proficiency in rapid assessment and triage
- Comfortable performing advanced life support and resuscitation measures
- Skilled at working in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Attention to detail for accurate, timely documentation and compliance
