Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan with speed and compassion
• Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and trauma status
• Implement ACLS/PALS protocols and perform lifesaving interventions when seconds count
• Coordinate closely with physicians, trauma teams (Level 1/2), and ancillary staff to ensure seamless care
• Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the medical record
• Maintain and demonstrate competency through Trinity specialty testing and skills checklists

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license (state licensure verification required)
• BLS and ACLS required
• TNCC required; PALS or ENPC required (PALS or ENPC acceptable)
• Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma settings required
• Successful completion of Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist
• Ability to meet health requirements (fit test, immunizations, 10-panel drug screen, physical/health statement)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency department nursing and trauma care skills
• Proficiency in rapid assessment and triage
• Comfortable performing advanced life support and resuscitation measures
• Skilled at working in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Attention to detail for accurate, timely documentation and compliance
