Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
- Assess, monitor and respond to changes in patient condition using clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and execute patient care plans
- Document patient status and interventions clearly and timely in the medical record
- Support families with clear communication, empathy, and professionalism
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted California RN license required
- Minimum ICU experience preferred; recent critical care practice welcomed
- Current BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred
- Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort with high-acuity patients
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; a positive attitude goes a long way
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — RN required
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care assessment and rapid decision-making
- Familiarity with ICU monitoring equipment and hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience with ventilator management and titration of vasoactive drips
- Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Clear, concise clinical documentation and handoff communication
