Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs and observe patients for any changes in condition
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility, ensuring patient comfort and dignity
- Document care actions accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
- Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Collaborate with nurses and clinicians to deliver consistent, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Valid CNA authorization to practice in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; active CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Practical knowledge of patient care standards and ADL assistance
- Proficient in taking vitals, documenting observations, and reporting changes
- Comfortable with safe patient handling and mobility assistance
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with clinical teams
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
