Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents and patients with respect and dignity
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Document care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — California certification preferred
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or obtained upon hire
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Comfort working overnight (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic bedside nursing care and ADLs
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Collaborative attitude and clear verbal/written communication
