Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to nursing staff
- Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and ambulation
- Support personal hygiene and grooming needs with dignity and respect
- Document care provided clearly and timely in patient records
- Communicate effectively with nurses, patients, and families to enhance care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- Available to work per-diem shifts (specifically the listed 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM day shift)
- Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and working as part of a healthcare team
- Current, basic infection control knowledge and ability to follow facility protocols
Knowledge & Skills
- Practical experience with patient hygiene, mobility assistance, and ADLs
- Ability to accurately measure and report vital signs
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Situational awareness and the ability to follow care plans
