Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the nursing team to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care
- Oversee clinical operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Develop and implement care standards and quality improvement initiatives
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and communicate effectively with families and staff
- Mentor, coach and evaluate nursing staff to promote professional growth and high performance
- Manage staffing allocations, shift coverage and work closely with HR to maintain safe staffing
- Monitor resident outcomes, infection control practices and safety protocols to protect residents
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or eligibility through the Nurse Licensure Compact
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing or similar setting preferred
- Current BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS) a plus
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead teams
- Familiarity with regulatory surveys, documentation standards and quality reporting
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical leadership and staff development
- Regulatory knowledge of CMS and state long-term care standards
- Clinical documentation and electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
- Infection prevention and control best practices
- Quality improvement methodologies and data-driven decision making
- Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution and team collaboration
