Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the nursing team to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care
• Oversee clinical operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Develop and implement care standards and quality improvement initiatives
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and communicate effectively with families and staff
• Mentor, coach and evaluate nursing staff to promote professional growth and high performance
• Manage staffing allocations, shift coverage and work closely with HR to maintain safe staffing
• Monitor resident outcomes, infection control practices and safety protocols to protect residents

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or eligibility through the Nurse Licensure Compact
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing or similar setting preferred
• Current BLS certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS) a plus
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to lead teams
• Familiarity with regulatory surveys, documentation standards and quality reporting

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical leadership and staff development
• Regulatory knowledge of CMS and state long-term care standards
• Clinical documentation and electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
• Infection prevention and control best practices
• Quality improvement methodologies and data-driven decision making
• Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution and team collaboration
