Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Perform accurate vital sign checks and report changes promptly
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in patient charts
• Support nursing staff with treatments and patient comfort measures
• Follow infection control protocols and promote a safe environment
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and team members

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Valid state nursing assistant registration or equivalent
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently on per diem assignments
• Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and following clinical directions

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and bedside manners
• Proficiency taking vital signs and observing patient condition
• Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Clear documentation and charting skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to follow care plans and nursing instructions
